We specialize in inspection and certification of your backflow prevention device and in replacing, repairing and testing water meters. Located in Dillsburg, PA, we serve residential customers, municipalities, apartment complexes, homeowners associations, and office buildings throughout Pennsylvania, Maryland and Virginia.

Serving Dillsburg Since 1993
Hydrotech was established in 1993 as a family owned, small town company. Currently owned and operated by Ed and Stephanie Cornett, we have many successful years of experience in Backflow Preventer Testing, Water Meter Installation, Testing and Repair. We are committed to completing our work efficiently, timely and with as little inconvenience to our customer as possible.

Backflow Prevention
Device Testing
Is your building equipped with a large boiler, fire suppression system, or an irrigation system? Your plumbing system’s backflow prevention device plays a critical role in protecting your drinking water and the city water supply from contamination. In addition to protecting you from liability, certification of your backflow prevention device is required by most water companies and/or municipalities. We provide annual inspection and certification of your backflow prevention device.
Water Meter Installation
Meter installation has to be right the first time. Let Hydrotech Mechanical Services expertly plan your materials checklist, install and monitor quality assurance protocol. Hydrotech will also assess the design and implementation of appropriate data transfer specifications to enhance meter functionality and accuracy.
Water Meter Testing
Meters can sometimes generate data discrepancies. Hydrotech will work with you to determine which meters need to be checked, and develop a resulting project plan with timelines, documentation and follow-up for meter testing against industry standards. We use the newest testing equipment available to ensure accuracy. Our testing equipment is recertified yearly.
